January Challenge

Miss Lilly here to tell you about our Jan. challenge. This one was like making soup. It had a little of this and a little of that. Miss D was really interested in doing a sky theme because the sun rises and sunsets had been so gorgeous during that time. So I took that thought and combined it with an About.com painting challenge that required the use of only 4 colors to create the image: white, lemon, blue and burnt sienna. The task: to create an interpretation of the sky.

This is just the beginning of our Art group. We started our very first Art Challenge in December 2007. We began with trying to interpret a work from Degas - the 4 Dancers. It was a lot of fun and it challenged us to try something different. What did we do in January? Miss Lilly can tell you all about it!
